1. Simple and Clean

With this Store we focus on getting across the benefits, trust and value needed for the User to make a buying decision.

We focus on elements that work rather than having it designed pretty.

2. Congruence

So the most important and first thing to have is Congruence between your Store and Ads.

The Landing Page needs to have the same Elements, Pictures and Deals as in the Advertisement or Users will leave quickly.

3. Above-the-Fold

First impression matters: we want the User to act quickly.

So we have a Scarcity-Timer & savings-badge in the top bar.

Also you can directly see the product, reviews and price.

4. CTA-Section

Around the CTA we place certain elements:

“X items sold” Badge
Discount and Special Sale
5 Product Benefits

All these are designed to create Urgency and Trust.

5. Product Description 1

Here we work with Accordions for Description, Package and Specs.

Only a small number of Users base their decision on these specifications – most buy emotionally.

That’s why we focus most of the space on Images to create Emotions.

6. Product Description 2

You should have two types of Descriptions:

First focussed on getting benefits across.
Second focussed on showcasing the Product Variations and everything that is included in the Package.

I don’t need to explain this:

Use pictures and videos of happy customers using your products.

Also add testimonials.

8. Trust Badges

You can also add another Section that showcases your Store’s Benefits:

Customer Service, Money-Back Guarantee, etc.

9. FAQ

Lastly you want to include a section for commonly asked questions so that people don’t waste time contacting you but can directly find the answer on your PDP.

10. Upsell

Once they click the CTA, we show them a Pop-Up with an Upsell.

With this Upsell we can get the AOV above $119 easily.

11. Cart

Do a couple of things:

Reaffirm their decision to purchase: “Good Choice”
Show Payment Providers to create Trust

12. General Input

After all you cannot copy other stores 1to1 but have to test for yourself what works and what doesn’t.

But most of these tips can be implemented in your Store too.
