[Case Study] 1,800+ new customers in a day with Google & TikTok Ads

One Product Keyword Method:

After researching viral trends, I started by creating a one-product store by utilizing the keywords everywhere chrome extension.

I purchased a domain to match the main product keywords. then I generated cold traffic by targeting that keyword.

Campaign Setup:

I start on Manual CPC with extremely low bids on popular keywords.

If you created a one-product store to match the product keyword, your quality scores will help by allowing you to rank #1 on Google.

Scaling to an open budget:

On this campaign, I will scale it until it has an open budget, meaning that the budget will reach the maximum search impressions.

In this case study, I was only using search ads on my stores and I ended up using TikTok ads later on one store.

Building Systems:

Once one store is producing profitable sales consistently, I started building systems to automate the fulfilment.

I created a group chat with my VA and my agent on Skype, they discuss any size changes or any product replacements

Scaling Horizontal:

One-Product stores targeting profitable keywords are cash cows.

Once I scaled to the maximum search impressions, I set a Target ROAS bidding strategy to automate the ROAS, and move on to building another store to get more search impressions.

Proving more concepts:

Before acquiring 1,800+ customers in a day, I had to prove multiple concepts on the same stripe account.

I created multiple stores and rinse and repeated my methods on Google Ads until I had over 5 stores at once doing $1,000+ per day in sales.

Setting up the backend:

I set up SMS marketing and started working with an email marketing agency to help produce an extra 20% of sales from emails.

It was totally worth it since this automated email marketing and all I had to do was focus on the Google Ads Management

Google Optimize:

I started to split test higher offers and bundles since I typically start with the lowest possible pricing.

Google Optimize allows you to A/B split test landing pages to find the best performing offer or angle.

Offer Testing Success:

One of the split tests was incentivizing a higher AOV and it really helped me gain confidence that my website was the best possible website selling this product.

At this point, I was ready to invest in content to take this store to the next level.

Purchasing Content:

I contacted a good friend of mine who has a studio to shoot professional content.

He has one of the best video production guys in the world so I knew it was worth investing thousands of dollars into. Here’s where things get crazy!

Launching on TikTok :

One day before the $35,000+ day, it was my first day ever using the TikTok Ads manager.

I Immediately set up a cost cap campaign with a $50 budget.

When I woke up, it had a 6$ CPA, I raised the budget and spent $984.03 on the first day.

Bid Testing Strategy:

I set up multiple cost caps after doing a fair ad test to scale the best creatives and find winning bids.

I duplicated the adgroup multiple times to test bids from $7-10.

I spent $8,854 on TikTok Ads that day and Google ads Spent $4,683.89.

The lesson is, once you prove a concept, Re-invest your profits to go multi-channel! Never be complacent and constantly look for areas of growth.
